Anonymous userEntering the Volcanic Island Geopark, walk along a mountain path to the Sky Corridor by the sea for a panoramic view. The weather was overcast today, and the sea was grey. Further on is the entrance to the volcanic geological relics. Descend the steps and walk along the seaside boardwalk. Below lies the black rocky coastline, with waves crashing against the rocks like blooming lotus flowers 🪷. Not far away (by sight), in the middle of the sea, is the dark volcanic island, which is said to be accessible only at low tide. The best time to visit the volcanic island is two hours before and after low tide. When I visited, it was high tide, and the sea was surging; all I could hear was the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks… After admiring the volcanic geological relics by the sea, turn left to find a pastel pink world – the popular photo spots on the volcanic island: Rainbow Mountain, Castle of Love, and Monument Valley. The pink and blue hues are incredibly charming, reminiscent of Santorini in Greece (which I've visited before). It truly is a place full of romance and fantasy. There's a blue lighthouse and a little train by the sea, reminiscent of the train in Miyazaki's "Spirited Away." I really love the blue lighthouse by the sea… Today, the volcanic island is sparsely populated, and the environment is very quiet. Strolling around, gazing at the sea, and listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the black volcanic rocks from millions of years ago, it felt like stepping into a movie…
