Change Rules
- Changeable items: Departure date, train number, seat class, and arrival station.
- Non-changeable items: Departure station (except for stations in the same city), passenger name, ID type and number (name errors require refund and repurchase), tickets already used for reimbursement, and tickets purchased with cash.
- Change restrictions: Each ticket can be changed only once, and you cannot change the departure or arrival stations. For tickets issued by 12306 China Railway, changes are not allowed between 11:30 PM on Tuesday and 5:00 AM on Wednesday. Additionally, once a ticket has been changed, it cannot be refunded after the train has departed.
- Changes to mainland China train tickets must be made at least 90 minutes before departure. For tickets departing from or arriving at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, changes also need to be made at least 90 minutes before departure. You can change to other trains within the presale period of 15 days, including the day of departure.
- If you have already collected a paper ticket or if the ticket was purchased with cash, you must go to the station ticket window to make any changes.
How is the new ticket price calculated?
- If you change your ticket, Trip.com will charge a CNY 15 change fee per person. If the original ticket is changed within 48 hours of departure or at or before 11:59 PM on the original departure date, and the new ticket date is later than the original departure date, the Railway Administration will charge a change fee based on a certain percentage.
- New ticket price = original ticket price: No Railway Administration fee will be charged.
- New ticket price is less than original ticket price: The Railway Administration refund fee will be deducted from the price difference. The remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment account.
- New ticket price is greater than original ticket price: You need to pay the price of the new ticket. The refund for the original ticket will be returned directly to your original payment account.
How much are the change and refund fees?
- New fare less than original fare: The price difference will be refunded, and a refund fee will be charged on the price difference. The refund fee will be charged according to the existing refund fee standards.
- New fare more than original fare: The original fare will be refunded, and no refund fee will be charged. The new fare must be paid in full.
- If you change your ticket within 7 days of departure to a train departing 8 days or more from the time of change, and the same ticket is subsequently refunded, a 5% refund fee will be charged.
- If you change your ticket between 48 hours and 8 days before departure to a train departing 8 days or more from the time of change, and the same ticket is refunded 8 days or more before the new departure time, a 5% refund fee will be charged.

The combined weight of the mobility aid and its user must not exceed 200 kg, and the size limit for each mobility aid is 120 cm (length) x 70 cm (width). When taking the high-speed rail, large luggage can be stored in the luggage storage area near the entrance, while carry-on luggage can be placed on the luggage racks above the seats.
