Daniel Clark

Daniel Clark is a writer and researcher with a passion for train travel. He has travelled thousands of miles by train around the UK and Europe, and written hundreds of thousands of words to share his enthusiasm for travel and the natural world. Originally from Leeds, he is now based in Cambridge, where he studied European Cultures and Literature.

An avowed environmentalist, he took a flight-free pledge in 2020 and has never looked back. His longest train adventure to date took him from Cambridge to Graz; in day-to-day life, he travels by train around the East of England. He enjoys daydreaming as he gazes out of train windows, and is always on the lookout for cheap rail tickets!
