Services to / from Uckfield and East Grinstead are expected to be disrupted this morning. You will need to use an alternative route or method of transport to complete your journey this morning. Journey times are expected to be extended by at least 60 minutes so please allow plenty of extra time and check before you travel.
At present, Southern are waiting for more information on how this will impact services, and they will provide further updates here once they are known.
Rail replacement buses have been requested and again we'll provide further updates on these once they are in place.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
Late last night, a train hit a tree in the Upper Warlingham area. This has resulted in damage to the track which requires further repairs, which means that the line remains closed until these have been completed.
