    Industrial action to affect London Underground and Docklands Light Railway between Sunday 7 and Friday 12 September.

    Period:Sunday, September 7, 2025 to Friday, September 12, 2025

    Related Information:The RMT union have announced industrial action which will affect London Underground services from Sunday 7 September until Friday 12 September. In a separate dispute, the Docklands Light Railway will also be impacted on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 September. From Sunday 7 to Thursday 11 September, London Underground services will be severely disrupted, with little to no service expected Any London Underground services that do run between Monday 8 and Friday 12 September will start later than usual with no service before 08:00 On Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 September, there will be no service on the Docklands Light Railway Some National Rail services may be impacted if London Underground operated stations are closed.     Related Information:During pre-planned engineering work at Bransty Tunnel, between Corkickle and Whitehaven, inspections revealed unstable ground conditions which require urgent repair. As a result, the line through the tunnel is closed. From Monday 1 September, buses will replace trains between Corkickle and Whitehaven. Disruption is expected until further notice.

    Train fault damages overhead wires between Windermere/Oxenholme Lake District and Lancaster

    Related Information:A fault on a train in the Oxenholme Lake District area has caused damage the overhead electric wires. As a result of this, all lines are closed. Trains running between Windermere / Oxenholme Lake District and Lancaster may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 10:00.
