Southern and Thameslink services will be delayed when travelling through Gatwick Airport, especially northbound, towards London.
For these services, you can continue to travel on your normal route, but it may take up to 15 minutes longer than usual to reach your destination.
Gatwick Express services are likely to be cancelled at short notice until the fault is fixed.
If you were planning to travel between Brighton and London, you may use alternative Thameslink services at no extra cost, changing at Gatwick Airport or East Croydon for London Victoria.
If you were planning to travel between Brighton and either Haywards Heath or Gatwick Airport, you may use alternative Thameslink services at no extra cost.
If you were planning to travel between Haywards Heath or Gatwick Airport and London Victoria, you may use Southern services at no extra cost.
This also means your journey could take around 15 minutes longer than usual.
Also, some trains may stop at different platforms compared to those usually served at Gatwick Airport, so please check station information boards and listen to announcements, to ensure you're on the correct platform for your intended service.

Great Western Railway customer advice:
All Great Western Railway services from Reading to Gatwick Airport will be terminating at Redhill.
Therefore, all Gatwick Airport to Reading services will be starting from Redhill.
To help you complete your journey, your Great Western Railway ticket can be used on Southern and Thameslink services between Redhill and Gatwick Airport. Please change at Redhill for onward services to Gatwick Airport.
Please note that that delays of up to 15 minutes between Redhill and Gatwick Airport are expected so please allow extra time to complete your journey.
