Passing through Aarhus, Denmark, this so-called second largest city has a few more colorful streets and has the tallest church in Denmark. However, the government office is very inconspicuous, just an ordinary gray old building.
The city hall of Aarhus is not as tall and beautiful as the city halls of other Eastern European countries. It fully embodies the architectural style of Northern Europe, and people who don't know think it is a factory building. It has a square clock tower overlooking the bay and the whole journey, and there are some very characteristic sculptures and fountains on the surrounding square.
You can see it from a distance, the clock tower is very beautiful.
It is very different from the city halls in other cities. This is relatively modern and simple in decoration. The square clock tower is very attractive, and many buses pass through here.
For this small city, this attraction is the symbol of the city, but compared to other big cities, this city hall is very ordinary. There is a statue on the square which is very interesting, and the big guys did not see what it wanted to express.
