This museum is awesome! The rainbow trail is dreamlike. We didn't have much time to visit everything in the museum, but we walked around the top floor and enjoyed the beautiful view of Aarhus. This is a must visit attraction. There are great 19th-century Danish-style paintings here, as well as good works by contemporary artists. Overall, this museum did a lot of hard work to make it look better. The rainbow glass roof makes the monotonous appearance of the museum alive, but the interior exhibition halls are not well designed. The view from the roof is very good, colorful, whether you like it or not, it really shows a beautiful imagination of the future of this small town. Hope to have some interesting exhibitions.
The trail is beautiful and the exhibition is interesting and worth going
Address: Aros Allé, Aarhus, Denmark. This is the largest modern art museum in northern Europe-Aarhus Museum of Modern Art. Since its overall design concept is derived from the description of hell and heaven in Dante’s "Divine Comedy", the nine dark exhibition halls on the ground correspond to nine levels of hell, and the colorful halo in the sky comes from the poet’s perception of heaven and holy light. Imagine. Therefore it is also called a place that connects heaven and hell. The architect interprets this way. Schmidt Hammer Lassen divides the whole building into two. The first floor of the museum belongs to the middle zone between heaven and hell, which can also be called the human world. In layman's terms, it means entering the door, going down to "hell", and going up to "heaven". Feature: Rainbow Roof-A 360° view of the city of Aarhus through rainbow-like colors. Inside, a lot of curve elements are used to give the space a sense of flow. At the same time, the sense of extension displayed by the spiraling stairs seems to symbolize the endless road to heaven and hell. The underground art gallery means "fallen angels". In the underground area, you can enjoy the most unique exhibitions, composed of "nine rooms", each displaying permanent works created by international artists. The treasure of the town hall "The Boy", the boy is a sculpture up to 5 meters high. It was designed by the well-known designer Ron Mueck. Huge Bo
