What people are saying:

The Viking Museum is a small "live" underground museum. The museum belongs to the Moskva History Museum and is located on the west side of Aarhus Square. It is the site of the Viking Pirates from 900 to 1400 AD, and is also the oldest part of the city. Here, you can follow the footsteps of the Vikings to explore and understand the story of the Vikings living in this land. Hear stories about King Harald I (nicknamed "Bluetooth"), learn about the urban architecture of the Viking era and the Vikings who lived on this land. There are also many other interesting stories about pirates in the history of unique ship burials.

    Truly recommended

A small and well-arranged Museum that does not overwhelm the visitors with too much information or flashy effects. It is an excellent introduction to the city's medieval past. Truly recommended.

    A museum to yourself.

Nice little museum. Strange to be there with no staff but the information is all there and very interesting. Worthwhile and it does not cost much.

    Immersive experience

As you walk down the steps at the entry you can see a timeline from the point of view of the archeologists - this is fascinating! The museum space is fairly small but the exhibits are very well design...
