Meknes

Meknes has no airport, and it takes half an hour by train from Fes. The ancient city of Meknes is very ancient. The city walls, the city gates, one after another, and those distinctive items are in love. The little donkey ran and passed by, as if returning to the Middle Ages.

The scale is definitely not as good as the ancient cities of Fez and Marrakech, but the things sold inside are the same, clothes, daily necessities, food, leather goods, spices, etc. It feels dirty, the only advantage is that it is not easy to get lost.

The ancient city of Meknes has a 25 km long wall, it is the longest, most complete, most complicated layout and most abundant form of the ancient city wall in Morocco, and is a world cultural heritage. The gate is very characteristic.

A very beautiful ancient city, very North African characteristics, but the sun here is really too big, do not pay attention to flood prevention, it is very uncomfortable, the fruit here is very sweet and delicious, may be the reason for the sunshine. Very good place, it is worth visiting.

Compared with other ancient cities in Morocco, Meknes is much quieter. Although there is less noise and liveliness, it does not affect the charm of the small city at all. I personally feel that this is a place where you can stroll around very comfortably.
