Ephesus is a well preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean, and a good place to experience and savor the life in Roman times. This beautiful city has always been one of the favorite places for tourists when visiting Turkey. The extensive ancient city remains, which have been preserved for more than two thousand years, are now listed as one of the UNESCO monuments. The current remains of Ephesus are in the northwest-southeast direction, with a total length of about two kilometers.
