New Year's Wish Granted: The Journey Across America
On New Year's Eve, normal girls were making a wish for a boyfriend, and I poked my finger at the globe and wished for traveling.
And now I find myself on a trip without a final point on the map. We have been in America for almost a month now!
Here, it turns out, it's almost April already - I almost missed it because of playing tennis, sleeping and walking around Berkeley. @claremonthotel even has its own climate: when it's raining cats and dogs all over San Francisco, here the sun is shining and 77°F.

Jack London Square Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A Historic Marina : Jack London Square.
Jack London Square is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a wide variety of restaurants, shopping, entertainment and recreational opportunities
Jack London Square is named after the celebrated author and adventurer who spent many years in the Bay Area. It was here in Oakland that he penned such classics as Call of the Wild and White Fang.
The history of Jack London Square begins with the California Gold Rush and the Port of Oakland (est. 1869). On this site, which was once home to a variety of shipping companies, warehouses and other maritime businesses, you can find several historic buildings still standing today.
From bowling to wine tasting, enjoy the many wonderful attractions at Jack London Square. Enjoy the peace of the waterfront, or head a few paces onshore and down European styled walkways to a booming bar and restaurant scene, including The Fat Lady, The Night Light and BBQ joint Everett & Jones. Music can be heard almost every night of the week at Yoshi’s, the famed spot in the Bay Area for jazz and dinner.

Alameda County Fairgrounds Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Alameda County Fair 🇺🇸
Ever wondered about those HUGEEEE fairs you see in Hollywood movies? They are absolutely true and every bit as indulgent as you can imagine! Think carnival games, carnival rides, carnival foods 😍🤗
There was even a racing track where there horse races, Clydesdale wagon rides, sales of baby piglets and ducklings, and lots of handmade crafts 🤩
The whole carnival was like a theme park of itself and so much fun to attend. These carnivals are a hallmark of American summers and you should definitely try to make time to visit one if you are able 😋
And yes, fried oreos, fried mars bars, fried EVERYTHING is a thing there 😩😩😩
USS Hornet - Sea, Air and Space Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
USS Hornet - Sea, Air and Space Museum
The museum's displays are expertly presented and there's so much to explore that you'll struggle to fit it all into one day. The ship itself is a fascinating labyrinth of passageways and floors, providing hours of engaging exploration.
To avoid crowds, it's best to plan your visit on a weekday. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with the friendly and knowledgeable docents, who are always willing to share their insights and stories with those who show an interest.
Would recommend to any history buffs and anyone wanting to know more about ships and aircraft. Overall, the USS Hornet is a must visit. It's not just a museum, it's an experience that combines historical learning with present day fun.

Commis Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Commis, the two-star Michelin restaurant in Oakland, has the smoothest average taste in the three star restaurants I have recently eaten. Every dish is not difficult to eat, from cold and light to hot and full, but there is no super amazing taste buds. However, this service is very good, and it can even be said to be better. In addition to entering the door, take your coat, go out to help you wear clothes, sit down and push the chair every time, the speed of serving is very accurate, and there are countless substitutes for people with different food allergies.
Here we are sitting at the chef's table and the scene in the kitchen is clearly visible. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I smelled the aroma of his homemade sour bread. I kept staring at the oven and said that I could eat bread. You said that when I went to eat the stars, I saw that the simple bread is also wonderful. However, the bread was given when it was half eaten, and the outer coke was soft and hot.
Fig. 4 Dried abalone slices sea urchin pumpkin balls, very very fragrant and very delicious.
Fig. 5 Slowly boiled egg yolk cream soup, it is good fragrance. This egg yolk is very crystal clear and glazed.
Figure 6 middle flounder with corn syrup, fresh and slightly sweet.
This dessert is average, not bad to eat, not surprising, although the selling is great. However, the variety of dessert candidates is amazing, I will see at least two alternative dessert choices. Oh~ There are also guests who dont eat seafood, dont eat dairy products, and they also have substitute menus. People who don't eat lamb will change the tuna for you. In fact, when I see the chefs doing the substitute dishes, I want to say that I also want to change.
