Lost in the human world, the fairy-tale mushroom village of Alberobello awaits your discovery
✨Hey, buddies! This time, I'm taking you on a magical journey to the dreamy land of southern Italy—Alberobello! This little village, hidden in the Puglia region, is like a secret base that fairies have left behind in the human world! 💫
🏞️First, let's talk about the impressions! The architectural style here is so unique it's mind-blowing! Although Alberobello is smaller than Matera, it has a stronger commercial vibe. But the mushroom houses here are just too too too cute! 😍
⏰Time management: Half a day is definitely enough to explore this little village! It took us just 2 hours to wander around, so don't worry about not having enough time! If you want to experience the charm of the stone houses, you can choose to stay overnight, but it might be a bit pricey. We ended up going back to Bari for accommodation.
🛏️Accommodation tips: Opposite the Bari Central Train Station, there's a place called Rossani Suites&Aparts, which is super well-located and the rooms are very clean. But remember to check the prices in advance, as they were very cheap when we went last year, but may have risen now.
🚄Transportation tips: There are trains and buses from Bari. Since there's no direct train, we chose the bus. The bus is operated by Trenitalia, and the journey takes just one hour for only 5 euros! The bus station is right at the entrance of the train station, which is very convenient. However, the bus is often crowded, so remember to get there early! There's no direct public transportation from Matera, so plan your travel in the south in advance.
📸Photo spot recommendations:
1️⃣Belvedere Terrazza Santa Lucia viewpoint, the scenery here is so beautiful it'll make you cry! It's the best spot to capture a panoramic view of the village!
2️⃣Trulli - Rione Aia Piccola (UNESCO) a UNESCO cultural heritage site, a must-visit place! The mushroom houses here are dense and cute, and it's super photogenic!
3️⃣There's also the Trullo Siamese shop and another viewpoint at Villa Comunale Belvedere Parco, both worth a visit!

A unique town in Italy, Alberobello
Alberobello is a small town in the southern Italian region of Puglia. It is really popular among tourists for its unique traditional homes in the shape of cones called Trulli.
They are stone building, quite small in the inside, where families used to live and keep animals. Nowadays some families are still living in them and the buildings became much prettier, there are plenty of shops and restaurants for tourists and some people allow you to go visit the rooms inside. It became an iconic spot for pictures 📷
When the sky is bright, the white stone walls are even prettier!
There are buses from Bari to Alberobello, you can visit it in one or two days.

Alberobello, a different name may be more familiar, "Mushroom Village." There are no steady blue dads, simple blue sisters, and other cute Smurfs. Such a mushroom house building in Italy is called "Trullo".
The mushroom village is not big. There are three areas in the well-preserved mushroom village. Visitors usually only stay in the Rione Monti area, where most of the mushroom houses have become shops or restaurants, typical tourist attractions. We live in another well-preserved mushroom village, Aia Piccola. On the contrary, I feel that I can find the real life of the mushroom village in the past.
The street is very quiet. Occasionally, you can meet passionate Italians. Most of the old people living in the town are more and more young people are leaving their hometowns to find opportunities in big cities. On the contrary, tourists like us are very envious of the plain life and the fantastic buildings here. Living in such a beautiful town, I don't think I will feel tired for at least a few years.

Ritz Suite Experience!
My second Ritz club experience with a generous upgrade to a Deluxe Suite! ❤️ Showered with attentive service and copious amounts of champagne, this stay cemented my rather unhealthy obsession with the Ritz Club and am wanting to come back so bad! Are you done with being a SDF yet? 😂
First Ritz Club experience 🥰
I believe this is THE Staycay that sparked my path of financial destruction this year. A family brithday staycay with club access at the infamous Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore. And boy did we make our spend worth - ate and drank like a family of elephants. 🐘But how not to when you are offered bottomless champagne and 5 meal presentations a day?
Top that off with excellent service, and becoming drunk whales was inevitable. Still one my best club experience ever and I can’t wait to be back ❤️
