The Basilica of Sant’Andrea, also known as the Cathedral of Amalfi, is located in the town of Amalfi in Campania, Italy. It was built in the 10th century and later merged from the original two churches to form a six-corridor five-hall style Rome The church has been rebuilt many times. Visitors can reach the bronze gate at the entrance of the church by climbing 62 steps. The gate was transported and installed from Constantinople in the eleventh century. The gable on the top of the church is covered with glittering mosaics, and the facade and colonnade describe the life of the Moors Details of the picture. The exterior architectural style of the church is Sicilian Arabic, and the interior decoration is Baroque. The ceiling of the church hall is full of paintings, and the high altar is guarded by four beautiful pillars. In the center is a picture of the apostle St. Andrew’s suffering on the cross.
Built in the early 10th century, the church combines various architectural styles, the exterior is a double-color stone building very special.
The first thing I saw after entering Amalfi was St. Andrew’s Cathedral. The residents of Amalfi basically come to this church if they want to go to the church. Go up the steps and take a look around, you can also enjoy the sea view.
The church is located at the entrance of the town and its location is very conspicuous. The pattern on the exterior of the church feels very peculiar, and it is a bit brighter for the host who wants to vomit when looking at the church in Rome. After eating for a long time, the occasional congee and side dishes are also very comfortable. The corridor outside is where tourists gather to take pictures.
I encountered the Spanish Steps in Rome and were under repair. The Church of St. Andrew in Almafi can be said to make up for my wish for the long steps, although the meanings of the two are completely different. From the seaside, this church is very eye-catching. The tall bell tower and golden murals make people can’t wait to see.
This church is a very magnificent Gothic building on the main traffic road of Almafi. There are some good collections in it, and there is a concert hall in the basement. You can listen to the sounds of nature in the church, which is also a kind of enjoyment.
