What people are saying:

Museum Square is located in the center of Amsterdam. As the name suggests, there are many museums on the side. The most famous is of course the Van Gogh Museum. It is famous and visited by many people. There is also the Diamond Museum. The Dutch National Museum is also quite large here. There is no iconic building, just a green grass. One person and one dog walk here and feel that life is very good. There will be some market activities on the side~ It is quite lively, selling some food and drinking, and tourists who come here to visit the museum. There are many, so the business of selling some snacks will be very good~ but I don't like to join in the fun, just look at it from afar~

    Great museums here

There are several good quality museums here close together. We love the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. The I amsterdam sign was fun to watch, when it was still there.

Amsterdam has reopened and the tourist mobs are not back... Enjoy now !

A great area of Amsterdam. The Museum Quarter is anchored by the Reichsmuseum. It is well worth going now. Normally >10000 people per day go through the museum. With current Covid19 prevention measure...

Additional Information

The Museum Square is a public square behind the National Museum, located in the centre of Amsterdam. Because there are many museums close to the square, such as the Van Gogh Museum, the National Museum, etc., it is called the Museum Square, where you can buy tickets for the museum. There are restaurants, gift shops and ticket kiosks around the area, as well as many large outdoor performances and entertainment for locals. There are many different sculptures on the square, among which the water view pool and “I love Amsterdam” are classic symbols.
