The museum is nice and looks pretty good but has no English translations anywhere which is too bad.. so if you can't read Spanish, it's not really worth visiting. Free though!

Nice to do on a wet day... there seem to be a few in Ancud! No cost to enter. It’s not huge but packed with history, mostly all in Spanish. Nicely presented. The blue whale skeleton is impressive.
