Dosanseowon Confucian School

On the whole, the architectural style of the academy is simple and concise, and it reflects Tuixi's own style of life and the high morale of academic scholars. The academy is roughly divided into Taoshan Academy and Taoshan Academy. Taoshan Academy is the place where Mr. Tuixi lives and imparts knowledge to his disciples, and Taoshan Academy is the school and academy established after Mr. Tuixi's death. Taoshan Academy was built in 1561 (the 16th year of Emperor Mingzong). It is said that it was built to study academic issues after Mr. Tui Xi returned to his hometown. The older buildings inside were all designed by Mr. Tui Xi himself. In addition, the dormitory "Nongyun Jingshe" and Xiakuzhishe for Confucian living were also built.

The academy is not big, but the environment is very quiet. The mountains and rivers are basically local Korean tourists. It is quite interesting. The autumn leaves season should be pretty good. We only caught up with the tail of the autumn leaves season.

Dosanseowon Academy is located in Togye-ri, Dosan-myeon, Andong City, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It was established in 1574 (7th year of King Sunjo) to mourn Lee Hwang's knowledge and virtues. In the 16th year of Mingjong's 16th year (1561), Mr. Lee Hwang, a master of sexual science in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty, personally established Taosan School and Nongunjeongsha, where he cultivated his body and mind, studied knowledge, and through lectures, he cultivated useful talents for the country's century-old plan

In 1561, Li Tuixi, a great Confucian scholar, founded Taoshan College in order to study the masters of He Professor. It was originally the Taoshan School, but what I see now is the expansion of Li Tuixi after his death.

The style of Korean academies is very different from that of China. There are many calligraphy and painting works in Chinese characters. They are very exquisite and a quiet place!
