Anjuna Beach

This is the paradise of Goa's hippie culture, and it is also one of the Goa beaches that many European and American tourists are very keen on. You can often see a large number of backpackers and hippies who have lived here for a long time. The vast volcanic rock beach stretches nearly 2 kilometers south from the village in northern Anjuna. There are many cafes and cheap inns under the cliffs at the northern end of the beach, and there are many beach bars at the southern end, and there are sometimes paragliding programs on the nearby headland. However, Anjuna is famous for its flea market every Wednesday, where all kinds of people come to set up stalls, which is a good place to feel the hippie style.
