Barbados Museum & Historical Society

The National Museum of Barbados is a comprehensive museum integrating natural history and society. The museum occupies a small area and was converted from a local military prison. The exhibition hall is divided into several parts: nature, history, social folklore, oil painting works donated by collectors, and children's exhibition hall. The exhibition hall covers a total area of three to four hundred square meters and has a small souvenir shop. To understand the history and customs of the small island country, you can take a look, but don't hold up too much hope. It is not the same as the exhibition methods of domestic museums. The building itself is a historical building and is part of the world cultural heritage. The service attitude of the museum staff is quite good. Photography is not allowed in the exhibition hall, and the ticket is $10.
