Andersonville

There's a lot of stuff from different places. It's great: Swedish boutiques, Swedish museums, Middle Eastern restaurants and markets, cafes, desserts, gay bars and many high-end boutiques. Many people living in the North like to come here for shopping and walking. Here, you may want to drive or walk through the Edgewater Canyon, a small area between Foster and Broadway, with many tall buildings. A hint about parking: If the area near Foster is full, drive north to the end, stop at the diagonal of the catalpa tree, or find a parking space on nearby Ashland Street. Besides, I don't know why, drivers in this area are rude to pedestrians, so be careful when crossing the road.

More traditional Chicago villages, very original ecology

Located in the northern suburbs of Chicago, not far from the lake. Some Swedes planted land here in the 19th century. After the Chicago fire, there were no wooden houses in the city. Many people couldn't afford to build houses and had to go to the suburbs. Swedes lived here to form a village. The present pattern and architecture are basically the same as those at the end of the 19th century, but they are of greater historical significance. In fact, they are not very attractive. Anderson Village is a beautiful place in the suburbs of Chicago. There are not many houses here. The village is quiet.
