What people are saying:

Receiving tourists to Arequipa, the second largest city in Peru, the low-key White City is like a city within a city. My favorite is the Santa Catalina Monastery. The red, white and blue walls are the most beautiful red wall in Peru, which is too suitable for literature and art. Visitors who come to take photos in the monastery can also see the nun's bedroom and washing place, and feel the quiet and beautiful monastic style!

    A Must See in Arequipa

The monastery is like a city inside the city. You can get lost within the colorful painted walls of the complex and take amazing pictures without other tourists in them.

    Nice Tour

On a rainy day, our tour group visited this monastery for an hour and a half. Old sections still in good shape but occupancy went from almost 200 to less than 2 dozen. Great history for the town.
