"In 1671, the French royal family ordered the construction of a shelter for the poor, the Hospice de la Vieille Charité (Hospice de la Vieille Charité). The main purpose was to build a shelter for the poor and sick immigrants on the streets of Marseille. This is a very strange selfish attitude, not out of compassion, because the nobles asked these poor people not to leave the asylum at will, they don't like to see these poor people running around in Marseille. The center of the ancient relief house has an artistic courtyard, the Museum of Archeology (Musée d''Archéologie) and the Museum of African, Oceanic & American Indian Art (Museum of African, Oceanic & American Indian Art), which is very eye-catching. In 1671, the nobles of Marseille established a refuge for the "poor and beggars". This was the ancient almshouse in the old city of Marseille. The main body of the hospice is divided into two parts: the Pierre hospital and the dome church. It was designed by Pierre, the author of the Palace of Versailles, the queen architect of the French King Louis XIV. It has the style of the Italian Renaissance but is simpler simple. After several renovations, the current almshouse has become a comprehensive cultural center including the Mediterranean Archaeological Museum, the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, the African Art Museum, and the French Academy of Social Sciences. It is said that the completion of the ancient almshouse was not because of the great mercy of the nobles of Marseille, but because of their peculiar mentality similar to "cleanliness". They were fed up with the poor people who had been squandering the streets of Marseille for a long time. So they simply built this refuge and forced them to live in it, and they were not allowed to leave at will. Unexpectedly, hundreds of years later, this building would come in handy."

"The Lavender Museum is one of the most impressive museums I've been to. The Provence lavender field under the sunny southern France coastline is so beautiful. Souvenirs can be purchased in the Lavender Museum."

"Old Aix Museum is a great museum, full of retro feel! Very amorous feeling, highly recommended! There are also some artworks and oil paintings, which can be appreciated slowly, the whole is quiet and suitable for vacation! Recommend~"
