Lookout point is well worth it
We admittedly didn't venture on to the beach but viewed it from the lookout which has excellent views of the wide expanse of sand. Four wheel drives were on the beach, apparently you can drive right ...
Shelter Island is really close !!!
Shorty, shady but steep walk down to the beach although other reviewers' photos show 4-wheel drive access a little further along. Pretty little headland and interesting to see the water rushing throug...
Beach and small island
A very short walk to the lookout, what a gorgeous bay. Watching fishermen and surfers. The Island is very close but unfortunately no birds on our visit.
Amazing diving spot
This spot is amazing for diving, lots of fish, stingrays and plenty to look at. THe steps are a killer getting down and up with dive gear on but worth it!

absolutely loved it. We didn't have much time, though had time to drive along the beach on a detour. Best detour I've ever had.... definitely could have spend loads more time here.
