Not so spectacular
We actually missed it on the start of our walk so it isn't something that is a must see. Don't make a special trip.
Take a walk in the forest also
The tree in the rock is quickly seen, but it is worth seeing. It is just 200 meters from the car park. Bring some water and take one of the marked trailes. Some of the walks are 1 km others are 2- 3 k...
No great thrill
It's a tree growing in a crack in a rock. Fine for kids or really old folk, but anyone looking for any degree of excitement would pass it by...
Great picnic spot in forrest
This national park picnic spot is great. It is in the lovely forrest and has great walks - easy or hard. There are park fees, good bbqs, benches and toilets.
Tidy picnic spot
We loved our stroll through the forest and took in the smells of real bushland. The Tree in the rock is starting to show its age, however it is still worth the short easy walk to have a look.
