The Kedah Royal Museum, which is located in a classic building completed in 1735, was originally a palace that had been inhabited by several Kedah Sultans in the past.
The place is air-conditioned, well maintained and there's no entrance fee. Very informative, definitely worth a visit for those interested in Kedah's royal family. Only the museum is open to the public. No entrance fee and the staff are very friendly. The place has air conditioning and there are many interesting exhibits pertaining to the Kedah Royal family, with information in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
