Getting There - Preferably with a car (self drive) to visit all the nicer beaches on the northern side of langkawi. From Kuah town it takes around 40 minutes to get to Pantai Pasir Tengkorak/Tanjung Rhu, and approx 25mins to get to Pantai Tengah which is near Cenang. Attractions - Pantai Pasir Tengkorak (no restaurants there, quieter beach compared to Tanjung Rhu), Tanjung Rhu (restaurants and other water activities are available), Pantai Tengah (best for sunset view, many restaurants along the beach including the popular Hidden Langkawi Cafe and Ngopi Pantai Coffee Bar). #awesomepic #couplestrip #本地遊

Tanjung Rhu Langkawi not as clouded as Pantai Cenang Langkawi. So you could enjoy the beach and activities more. At here, you can join the local tour for island hopping, price are negotiable and they provide private boat if you are travelling with family and friends. Price offered is reasonable. Different price different package, we took the 4 hours package. They will bring you to few places and snorkelling. Lunch at own cost. On the beach, there are water activities available, such as jet ski, banana boat, surfing, ATV and so on. Nearby resort available like Tanjung Rhu Resort and Four Seasons Resort. A relaxed cafe with a camp theme can be seen in the picture. I like the food here because there are chefs who are professional in preparing very tasty western food. this cafe also provides plenty of parking and clean toilets. Price? quite surprised because it is too cheap because of the food portion given a lot and too delicious. Getting There - Beautiful clean beach. Only 30 mins drive from Kuah. Has small restaurants and few agent booth offering boat trips, water sport activities etc. Happy enough to be there, walk along the beach, dip my feet into the fine sand and look at the clear seawater. Very nice beach to sun bathe and chill, the water however isn't meant for swimming in my opinion, lots of boats nearby, water isn't as clear as other beaches, but still a very nice beach #mytripvlog#tripblazers

The beach is so beautiful and clean with a great scenery of many small island opposite with beach front. Tanjung Rhu is located at the northern tip of Langkawi island and is 30 minutes away from Kuah Town. There are 2 very famous resort here; Tanjung Rhu Resort and Four Season Resort. Swimming is always pleasant and enjoyable here, as it’s not as crowded as Cenang Beach. Just watch out for some jellyfish here. Hotel - TRL hotel have 3 sexy pool which facing Andaman Sea (sand pool, sunset pool, lagoon pool) Me booked a room facing the beautiful beach. Spacious and lovely room, comfy bed and got a small balcony which is an added bonus! Attraction - there are several activities you can do such as ride ATV, kayaking or island hopping. Food & restaurants - if you are lazy, they do have in house restaurants but limited choice. but if you are energetic after having fun at the white-sandy beach, me would suggest a place name Scarborough fish and chips. IMHO their beach me would rating 9/10🌟

Tanjung Rhu beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Langkawi island and it lies in the north of the island. The beach is good for a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are only expensive hotels on Tanjung Rhu beach, so it’s rarely crowded as many people don’t even realize that it is open to the public. This place is absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. The water may not be pristine clear, but the view makes up for it!Upon visiting, it was just me and the beach.I went here at around 12pm in the morning and ended up leaving at 3pm. Among all the beaches in Langkawi, I think this is the best! It’s a little bit far from the main Cenang beach, but it’s worth the drive. Water sports activities are available at this beach and there’s a small sundry shop. Go there before 2pm, or it can get a little crowded. I was told, if you were lucky you may see the sand beach, unfortunately I wasn’t lucky enough to see that. But, it’s still the best beach in Langkawi. #naturalwonders#beaches

Was very much impressed by the clear waters and beautiful skyline. I’m glad to have traveled the extra miles to Tanjong Rhu Beach and parked at the place beside Four Seasons Hotel which probably shared the same pristine beach and view. A local restaurant makes sure you can get your stomach full and a bar with bigbags and beach chairs plays some music and serves food for a normal price. Highly recommend if you only need the beach. No jetski, parasailing, banana. Signs say not to swim due to undercurrent however quite a few people in the water although not out deep. Nice beach bar for cold beer and snacks. Tanjung Lu Beach is about 20 kilometers away from the real wave, you can drive directly into the beach, this feeling is very cool! But don't drive too much, after all, it's a two-wheel drive to avoid trapping or polluting the beach environment. Put on a bikini and you can embrace the Indian Ocean! Tanjung Lu is far away and there are few supporting facilities around, so there are very few tourists here, almost contracting the entire beach. This is a wonderful treatment that all the islands have to enjoy. ! The island's luxurious Four Seasons Hotel is also located on Tanjung Rhu Beach. The "Aunt of Li Tea", which was very hot in the past, is here. 60% of the entire beach belongs to its private area, only for guests to enjoy, outsiders will be restricted, and the remaining one-third of the public areas, because of the extremely rare tourists, has become a holiday beach for locals. Later joined the European friends who came by car. These quiet and beautiful men did not swim. They went to the beach to be so quiet and dazed, and the vacation mode of foreigners was really slow. The long coastline of Tanjung Rhu Beach is perfect for taking pictures. Locals in the public area have opened a water entertainment club, which is bustling on weekends. Personally think that people are the biggest advantage here, and the sand is fine, diving and snorkeling are not necessary to experience, swimming and water projects can feel.
