The Heineken Experience in Amsterdam is more than just a brewery tour it’s an immersive journey into the world of one of the most iconic beer brands. From the moment you step inside the historic brewery, you’re greeted with a vibrant mix of history, innovation, and interactive fun.The tour takes you through the fascinating story of Heineken, from its humble beginnings in 1864 to its global presence today. The original brewing equipment and vintage ads are a treat for history buffs. The 4D ride and virtual brewing experience are standout moments ,engaging, entertaining, and surprisingly educational. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for the art of brewing.Of course, no visit is complete without sampling the beer! The tasting room offers freshly brewed Heineken, and the bartenders are happy to share tips on how to pour the perfect pint. It’s inspiring to see Heineken’s commitment to sustainability, from water conservation to eco-friendly packaging. PROOST!
The entire experience from walking into the brewery to exiting all the way at the end of the gift shop the staff are very friendly and informative. If you’re on a tour which is highly recommend it’s very easy to follow. The tour itself is very informal and fun staff are friendly and keep you engaged. The experience is well thought out and creative. We even got to personalize our own beer labels as souvenirs
Fun time of the Experience, but the rooftop bar was a bit disappointing with limited selection of drinks and very basic setting .
To be honest, you have to go to Germany to drink beer, the beer is strong. Heineken is undoubtedly the best beer brand on the planet. This trip is just a game. I drank 4 glasses of beer. Remember to go to the rooftop, and the trip will be perfect.
As a non-beer drinker I went there just to please my partner who has been dragged to 3 museums so far so I didn't expect much...but it was amazing, really interesting and informative. You can see how beer is brewed, taste it straight from the barrel (beware, it's hot!!) and you get 2 (half) free pints. The atmosphere in this place is really nice, make sure to go on your brewery tour, which sounds silly because they promise you a bottle of Heineken.

Is this a museum? I think it's more like an amusement park. The Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, was closed in 1988 and the building was converted into a museum. It was named "Heineken Experience" but still retains the words "Heineken Brewery". The museum exhibits the history and brewing process of Heineken beer. You can also make a short video with Heineken and send it to your mailbox.
At first, I had no interest in the tour because I thought it was just about the history of Heineken and seeing the building. However, I was wrong, and I am glad I was wrong. It is certainly more than just a history lesson, it is an experience. Yes, you learn about the history of Heineken and how it is made, but there are also Disney-esque rides, interactive and cool stuff, and beer tastings. You don't want to miss this opportunity when visiting Amsterdam. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance so you don't have to wait in line.
