Turtle Island is a very unique tourist island, it is really able to see some of the big turtle species, is also a good place to visit, the natural and geographical characteristics of the turtle island are very good, some of the facilities of the island are relatively short.
This is a great project and I am grateful that it is not for profit. After realizing this, these rooms are completely unfit for living. As a remote island, I didn't have too high expectations, but apart from changing the sheets, these rooms have not been cleaned for months. At the moment we arrived, I posed this question to the management. Not only did they do nothing, they didn't seem to care. I think it's because they knew that I was leaving in 24 hours. For children, this is the highlight of the trip. Clear waters, charming beaches, and most importantly turtles. We don't have a guide, the staff really took care of us, it was great to have Bella with the children. We were lucky to see the turtles hatching at sunset, and then the turtle mothers returned to the sea at sunrise. Although there is no organization to observe sea turtles, it is still worthwhile. There are a small number of annoying tourists who should have turned off their flashlights, but they did not do so, but the patrol was very polite and told them what to do.
Tickets are quite expensive, in Sandakan. In addition to turtles as a feature, there are many different animals, the most being lizards, crawling around is not scary. It's almost done for a long time.
Turtles lay their eggs throughout the year, but the best time to head there is between July and October when the sea is calmer.Observe the collection of eggs, tagging of mother turtles and releasing baby turtles to the sea at this island other than Terengganu.
