Penida Island | A day trip to Indonesia is not enough
Some say Bali has given its most beautiful seas to Penida, and it's absolutely true ❤️
The azure waters of Diamond Beach, the emerald waves crashing at Kelingking Beach
The fine soft sand, dazzling and bright under the sunset 🌇
I have to say, the sea here is truly breathtaking!
No filters needed, it's a place where every shot looks amazing~
One day is definitely not enough! 🌊

❓【How to Get to the Island】
Bali Sanur Pier - Speedboat 🚤 - Penida Island (Banjar Nyuh Harbour), takes 50 minutes.
It's recommended to buy the boat tickets online a day in advance, it's cheaper than buying on-site. Once booked, you'll receive an email 📧 with a QR code. Save the QR code.
Boarding Time - Traffic in Bali is heavy, so it's recommended to arrive at the pier an hour early. Find the ticket exchange point of the shipping company, show the QR code to the staff, and you'll receive a paper ticket for boarding. Follow the staff's arrangements to board the boat 🚢 on time.
❓【Transportation on the Island】
Rent a motorcycle or hire a car. There is no Grab 🚗 on the island, so you can only explore by riding a motorcycle or hiring a car.
If you have experience riding motorcycles or medium to large electric vehicles, it's more recommended to rent a motorcycle, which costs a few dozen a day. Penida Island has many small roads, making motorcycles more convenient and free.
❓【How to Explore】
Most people join a one-day tour on Penida Island, but it's very rushed, and you usually have to leave by 4 PM, meaning you can't see the sunset. But the sunset at Kelingking Beach is absolutely stunning!
So it's strongly recommended to stay on the island for at least 2 days, one day for the east line and one day for the west line. This way, you don't have to get up too early, and you can slowly explore and discover more beauty!
🏠 Accommodation Recommendation - PENIDA TIDES! There are only three seaside cottages, and when you open the door, you have a private, unobstructed sea view. It's only 18 minutes from the pier, and you can stay in a super beautiful sea view room for just 200!
❓【Attraction Recommendations】
West Line:
Kelingking Beach
Broken Beach
Angel's Billabong
East Line:
Diamond Beach
Tree House

The most classic ⭐ Kelingking Beach and Diamond Beach
The most hidden gem ⭐ Atuh Beach (less crowded, only a few foreign tourists, quiet and pleasant with a South of France vibe!)
The most recommended ⭐ Visit Kelingking Beach at sunset, make sure to stay until the sunset is completely over, the sky will turn orange-red, and the lighting is stunning!

【TIPS⚠️】
1. The waves at Kelingking Beach are very strong, with rip currents, so be careful not to get swept away.
2. There are monkeys 🐵 on the island, so don't leave your bags unattended.
3. The signal 📶 on the island is very poor, so remember to download any necessary information on your phone 📱 in advance.
4. You can go down to the beach at Kelingking Beach and Diamond Beach, but it's a bit strenuous. If you have a habit of exercising, it should be fine. Wear comfortable walking shoes 👟.
The roads on the island are terrible and the traffic is very congested, but fortunately the scenery is worth it. The return trip time is well controlled, otherwise you will encounter the evening rush hour in Bali and be nauseated. The return boat is very strange. You have to stand and wait for a long time before it starts, and it takes 40 minutes to start.
Please slot some time to come here.if you're in Bali. Can cover half of the beach as a day trip or if you want to really explore the whole island, try to spend 1-2days here. Many tourists but still beautiful and worth it.
The trip was very good and what it make it more good is the helpful and friendly staff
penida island was the once of the most magical places I have been too. the beach itself was so beautiful with clear water leading into the most perfect blue colour, the sand was pure white and down in the island they sell food and water incase you get hungry. I will definitely be returning😌
great for a day trip to visit the beaches. recommended to hire a car driver to bring you around. if you want to rent a bike to explore, do not do it if you’re not a confident driver. roads are not entirely smooth and there are some pretty steep up and downhills to manoeuvre.joglo is a great spot for their espresso milkshake and pastries. love the egg bacon croissant! if you’re spending a night, recommend to stay near the harbour where lots of cafes are within walking distance
Best island in the world 🌎🙆🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️Strongly Recommended to visit 💦💦🇮🇩🇮🇩🤍🩵🤍🩵🤍🩵🤍🩵🤍🩵
It’s like a once in a lifetime experience. Nusa Penida island is an untouched island so it’s very beautiful but sometimes it can be a bit dangerous due to the lack of maintenance or safety… therefore, you must bring a proper shoes to go there and do not try something stupid to avoid any danger and need to always follow the rules or listen to what your tour guide says.
definitely worth the visit, would recommend at least a night here - i stayed 2 nights ☺️ opportunity to see manta rays and turtles as well as beautiful landscapes and snorkelling is super fun also! tour guides go above and beyond - mine got in the tree for all the angles lol
