This is one of the most beautiful terraced rice fields in the world — the Tegallalang Rice Terrace 🌾, located 25 kilometers south of Ubud city. These terraces are a beautiful engineering feat built by local farmers on the hillside. Every spring, the rice in the terraces glows golden, creating a breathtaking sight. We recommend entering from the Tegallalang Rice Terrace Parking Ground, wearing sneakers, and don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent. The opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the entrance fee is 25k (12 yuan). It’s a good idea to go in at 8 AM to take photos, as there are fewer people, and it’s advised not to stay more than 2 hours because strong sunlight starts from 10 AM.
