Bali is a tropical rainforest scenery, Ubud has no modern buildings, for middle-aged and elderly Chinese is full of nostalgia. The price is cheap, the store is good to go shopping, and the special items can buy some essential oils and robes (as pajamas). As for the food, it can be said that there is no special feature and it is not very delicious. Ubud stayed for 5 days. In addition to the hotel breakfast, there is only one dirty duck rice to go out. The most important thing is that Bali is very very humid, from bedding to clothes are semi-dry, damp and very uncomfortable. Northern people are cautious, and southerners (I am) are also difficult to adapt. We went to 4 people, basically have different adverse reactions. Special reminder: local raw water must not be drunk, boiling is not good. Ubud is a town in Bali, Indonesia, located in the hilly area of the central Gianar region. As a cultural and artistic center of Bali, there are many museums, galleries, and traditional handicrafts. The palace is beautifully built and has a wonderful traditional dance performance. The Holy Monkey Forest, Shengquan Temple and other attractions have their own characteristics, and the surrounding rice fields and canyons are beautiful. In addition, the Ubud Food Festival, yoga, etc. also attract a large number of tourists, and it is a great place to experience the culture and customs of Bali.
Fun in the jungles! Ubud is the place to be if your looking at becoming one with nature. This is the most lush landscape in Bali with great things to do. While there ( travelled with two children) we experienced ATV riding throughout the rain forest , rivers and waterfalls , to the sight of free roaming monkeys at the Monkey Sanctuary , gracefully washed elephants at the Masons lodge ... experienced the beauty of rice terraces and topped it off with an evening camping out! Ubud is a must do for that total Bali experience with endless possibilities.
The Ubud area is away fromthe beaches so it is a bit more quieter. this is the area to go to see some lush vegetation . There are some really beautiful rice terraces in this region . some are a bit touristy but others you can find are quiet . the weather is variable in this region so constantly check your weather reports . plan to spend a full day in this area before heading back
calm and peaceful place. if you want just to live and enjoy the moment definitely spend few days in Ubud. everything just make you feel better and find yourself. amazing view, people and food.
