I regret not doing my research before I went to elephant village. On arrival It did not register that the animals were being abused till I saw the sharp objects the men use to control them and the stab wounds all over the top of the elephants head when it picked me up in its trunk. The sight of the elephant in chains broke my heart , please don’t visit this place. Nothing about my experience there was natural and I hope that someday the poor animals will be released.
