A lot of fun and a great view of the city for very cheap cost. Get on the top deck and wear a big hat and sunscreen for a great view of the city and many smaller boats (some which are really traditional and some which have big billboards stuck on top!) you can go past Wat Arun, many temples and attractions and much more. 10/10
The Chao Phraya River: Divine and secular liquid dividing line This muddy river never really belongs to tourists. When the long tail boat engine breaks through the water, the golden roof of the Grand Palace and the tin roof of the slums are broken in the cocoon, you can read Bangkok's most authentic reflection. The Chao Phraya River is a flowing market. Sand boats and water buses play the channel in the whistle, and coconut vendors' seesaws deftly walk through it. The porcelain spires of the temple of Zhengwang burn the pupils under the sun, and fluorescent bracelet dealers at Don Muang Pier are shouting in Chinese - the god Buddha here shares the same tide with Shang Jia. The river begins to show spirit after dusk falls. The night lights of the temples on both sides of the Straits gradually turned on, and the neon signs cast color spells on the water. The tugboat dragged the light tail across the river, like a series of floating ellipses, and the distant cargo ship whistles just resonated with the sound of the evening prayer bell. It is recommended to avoid sightseeing cruise ships and jump on the local orange bus boat. When salty water vapor mixed with jasmine in the old woman's basket, when the teenager in school uniform took a selfie on the bow, you hit the true texture of the Chao Phraya River. The river does not need to be seen, it is only responsible for stirring the magic and reality of Bangkok into a turbid liquid that never settles.
The Chao Phraya River is one of the longest rivers in Asia and the longest river in Thailand. There are many temple attractions in the upper reaches of the river that can be visited during the day, and at night, you can do a boat cruise on the Chao Phraya River to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
This boat is great value, convenient, fast and cheap. Ticket exchange is simple and the boat ride is fast. The scenery is unbeatable. The stops along the Chao Phraya River are all the most famous attractions. It is not an exaggeration to give the boat a hundred thumbs up. It is worth recommending to everyone and I will continue to take the boat next time.
address :Charoen Krung Road, Bang Kho LaemReasons for recommendation :The Chao Phraya River is the Chao Phraya River. It is very beautiful at night. The lights of the boats are shining brightly, and the lights of the buildings are very beautiful. The pier here is very convenient. You can take a free boat to the Riverside Night Market and Siam Department Store. The whole thing is relaxing. feels great
this is one of my favourite places when I visited Bangkok from 13/2-18/2/24. This is my first ever visit to Bangkok, Thailand.. i took a ride of the tourist boat , ‘blue flag’ double decker boat during evening around 5 pm till 7 pm. besides enjoyed the breeze and relaxing ambient , sightseeing the building beside the river , especially the shining ‘Wat Arun ‘, grand palace of Thailand and also the dazzle Icom Siam, beside those scrapers sky high hotel.
The Chao Phraya River night cruise is worth taking. The boat is clean, the service is good, you can listen to music, eat delicious food, and see the scenery. Most importantly, it is cool. It is too hot during the day and you don’t want to go anywhere. A night cruise on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok is a good choice.
As long as it doesn't rain heavily, it's still very good (it rained heavily that day, so I didn't see the night view). The meal and service were very good, the salmon was very fresh, the dishes were also very rich, there were some performances and shows, and overall it was a great experience except for the rain.
