#bangkoktrip Lovely hotel with a great pool - incredible and attentive service by all staff. Just a few minute walk to Lumphini Park (free admission) which is very clean and a good place to go for a walk, run, or join others for yoga. Walking distance to many other attractions and hundreds of restaurants and bars. Great place to start a vacation in southeast Asia!

#bangkoktrip Getting There - Catch the MRT (underground) to Silom Station, Lumpini Park is right next to the station. The nearest BTS (skytrain) station is Sala Daeng, just a little south of Lumpini Park, 5 minutes walk. Attractions - Lumpini Park offers playgrounds, outdoor gym, open public space with lots of trees and grass to sit and relax, the park also contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats.

It is one of the only green spaces in Bangkok, definitely not one of the best parks in the world as it is somewhat small for a main park… but it is best place to jog or walk without traffic! You will see lots of people jogging, doing tai chi and yoga every morning and evening. A nice place to take a break from the hectic of Bangkok City. There are a lot of trees in this park. The best time to visit this park should be in the morning where the air is fresh and cooler. #wecreate

Lumphini Park is located in the centre of Bangkok and it is very nice to find a well maintained public park is such a busy setting. The park has many facilities inside including a large lake (boats available to ride on), toilets, shops and many gyms which are free to use. If you wanted to engaged in the nature for awhile, visit Lumpini Park. The place is clean, there are lot of people who went jogging here, crows are everywhere as well as monitor lizards. Big trees help a lot to produce fresh air, you can hear the birds chirping, and there are tables everywhere. You can do picnic or just chill. If you come to Bangkok for shopping and eating, and still have time after strolling and eating, you can consider immersing yourself in the greenery of Lumpini Park for a moment of peace and coolness. This oasis in the city is like Bangkok's Central Park. Walking among it, the orchids on the trees by the lake are pleasing to the eye. If you like tropical animals, watch your step, as lizards may come out of the grass to greet you. I encountered two lizards of different sizes!

Tired of traffic? Tired of all the noise? This place has really surprised us with how calm and relaxing it is. Don’t be taken in by the pictures I’ve taken of the Komodo dragons they’re really harmless and just wandering around the whole park . You could see some people jogging, exercising or even just napping or sunbathing. I’d really recommend coming here for a small picnic or a nice little walk around. #bangkok
