Piel Island

Visited at the end of June, the weather was fine. My partner and I had a ferry every time. The ferry is a small motorboat, it takes about ten minutes to reach the island and return. There are castle sites and bars on the island, with beautiful views. We heard and saw seals in the distance, watched a dolphin play with a motorboat and jump into the water while we drank a pile of chips. Great food, great drinks, don’t forget to enter the bar as there is a room like a museum and some information about the “King of Pill Island” that is well worth reading. We had a very good time! If we don’t have time limits, we’ll watch people on board boats and water skis. It’s a bit remote but really worth a visit! The islands are free to visit but the boats need money.
