I reached the summit of Elbrus on August 27 this year, and I am also implementing my 7+2 plan, in March 2020, Mount Jaya, and July Kilimanjaro! If you have a companion, you can join us!
Elbrus is the highest peak in Europe, the only way to 7+2, mountaineers may wish to come and try. The base camp is located at 3,800 meters and can be reached by a cable car. In addition to the gasoline barrel camp, there are also other camps such as wooden houses. The accommodation conditions in the climbing base camp are pretty good. If the weather conditions are good, the summit scenery is beautiful!
We took the cable car, then transferred to the cable car, reached the mountainside, and then continued to climb the snow mountain motorcycle from more than 3900 meters all the way to 4600 meters, as if it was as exciting as riding a roller coaster. Snowmobiles became a means of transportation in snowy mountains. It is used for snow rescue, very stable, and the driver is very skillful when climbing all the way. He took me to a stop at 4600 meters. Some tourists also came for sightseeing. The sun was just right, the white snow-capped mountains, and the two-headed peaks of Elbrus, the highest peak, were still a thousand meters away. The sky here was so blue. Thoroughly, the mountains of the Caucasus are all in my eyes, and my heart is hypoxic, but my breathing is very smooth. I heard that climbing the highest peak of Elbrus is not very difficult. Next time you come, you must climb to the top. Mount Erbrus, besides, ski once, that would be perfect! Later, we took a motorcycle down to the upper station of the ropeway. Mount Elbrus has three cable cars. The top cable car has seats without carriages. There are two cable cars in the bottom one. A new one can take 8 people. A cable car, an old-fashioned London car, can seat about 16 people.
The climbing season of Mount Elbrus, the leader of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, tells everyone from my own experience that the most suitable season for climbing is summer, otherwise the colder the weather, the harder it will be to climb. It’s the last train in October. If it’s late, I suggest that you don’t climb the climbing difficulty. This rock climbing is not too difficult and not technical, but there is a section of the road that is very steep. The open space is beautiful, and there are many strange rocks on the way, but these are not attractive to me for rock climbing, because I am really tired~ The climbing guide especially reminds everyone that you must find a formal guide company to climb the mountain, otherwise the experienced Friends can also. The weather in Elbrus is quite changeable. Only experienced guides can guarantee our safety. Our guide this time is an Englishman, who is a professional mountain guide, and picked a warm and bright weather to lead us to the charge. Keep your climbing gear warm! Keep warm! Keep warm! Say the important thing three times! Another thing to pay attention to is sun protection. Don’t think that you don’t need sun protection when it’s cold on the mountain. Remember to bring water with a sunscreen index greater than spf30, but don’t add too much weight
