Port of Tagbilaran, The Gateway to the Majestic Province of BoholCOME VISIT MY PHILIPPINES
If you go to Bohol Island (Panglao Island) by boat, you almost always take a boat to and from Tagbilaran Pier.
It takes about two hours by boat from Cebu to Panglao Island. The ferry ticket + tax + checked baggage fee is about 600 pesos. You can also book the ticket online in advance, but the baggage fee is still charged on the spot.
It takes about 40 minutes by car from the pier to Alona Beach. Remember to use the meter. Many local taxis charge randomly.
Tagbilaran Pier, this is the pier from Cebu to Panglao. Panglao and Tagbilaran are two islands connected by a bridge. This is the relationship, so when you get to Tagbilaran, you have to cross the bridge before you arrive in Banglao. On Law Island, there is a tuk-tuk collection and distribution point on the opposite side after disembarking the boat. The starting price is 350 at Alona. I bargained to 250 by myself. I took a motorcycle on the return trip, which is actually a bit dangerous. Buy the ticket when it arrives, and see which one will leave the fastest, without having to buy it in advance.
I really like the view from the Bohol tropics cafe resort to the tagbilaran port my favorite place there
The island is completely closed for two days, there is no mobile phone signal, WIFI signal sometimes no, everything returns to the tranquility of nature. The island is sparsely populated and simple. The Resort where it is located is on a small hill, facing the sea. If it is a large mountain garden, there are only a few other wild surroundings. Sitting in the garden, you can quietly enjoy the sea breeze filtered by the forest, and the trees can hear the harmony of birds and waves from time to time.
