A cemetery for the stars, this graveyard is the final resting place for some of Argentina's most notorious and beloved citizens, including Raúl Alfonsín, Eva Perón, and a number of presidents. First built around a convent and church, the cemetery became part of a wealthy neighborhood after upper-class Argentinians fled to Recoleta during the 1870s yellow fever epidemic. Today, the cemetery contains elaborate mausoleums, statues and tombs - most in good shape, although a few have succumbed to the ravages of time. Tree-lined walkways allow visitors to stroll leisurely through the area.

Argentine Travel - Buenos Aires Recoleta Cemetery, one of the world's most famous ten cemeteries, and the final destination after the death of the famous Argentine/social elite.
The cemetery is in the city center. It is not so much a cemetery. It is a gathering place for sculptures. There are many sculptures here. The cemetery is close and quite luxurious. It can be seen how important it is to die before death.
For tourists, it is like a park. Personally, I feel that it is good to visit the museum. If you want to know the history, you can either spend money or watch it online. There are also many restaurants and shopping malls near the cemetery, but it is not bad to have a meal there.

What do you think is so good-looking in the picture?
Park? Attractions? Art gallery?
wrong! It is a very famous attraction of the cemetery
"Buenos aires", the noble cemetery. It doesn't feel gloomy at all, but it is full of artistic beauty!
The big guys in Argentina may have different origins, but they can be the same. The people who can enter the Recole cemetery after death are definitely counted in Argentina.
There are a lot of political figures, national heroes, wealthy families...
even in the cemetery, you can see all kinds of European architecture. In Argentina, people pay more attention to death than birth, because in the eyes of local people, nothing is born, only the full meaning of life in death will be fully presented.
This cemetery is located in the city center and is not large in size. The building of the cemetery is closely related. Even the famous "Mrs. Belon" has been sleeping here.
