Sydney Zoo is a great spot for an easy day out with wildlife. The enclosures are spacious, and you’ll see everything from lions to kangaroos up close. The layout makes it easy to walk around, and it’s family-friendly. A good alternative to Taronga if you want something more relaxed!
The animals themselves seem to have appropriate environments. They were also very active and moving around. And there is a great variety of animals as well. The zoo was easy to navigate and was not super crowded. The one downside was that the interactive bits filled up quickly.
The zoo features a wide range of animals from around the world, including native Australian wildlife, African animals, and exotic creatures.

Taronga Sydney Zoo is a government-run public zoo located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, in the suburb of Mosman, on the shores of Sydney Harbour. The opening hours are between 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Taronga is an Aboriginal word meaning "beautiful view". It was officially opened on 7 October 1916.
This is a great place for parents to bring their children to broaden their horizons! There are different animals from all over the world, so there are not as many species as other zoos, but it is not so crowded here. My family has a lot of fun
The ferry over to the zoo is its own experience and very quick and fun. Definitely worth it for the views. The animals are also worth the admission!Save money by purchasing tickets online in advance. They have great gift shops and restrooms wherever you need.
