Yaze Lake

Yaze Lake is located in the south of Kanas Village in the Mongolian township of Hemu Kanas. It is composed of the depressions of the Yaniuyu Lake in the abandoned river section after the Kanas River was rerouted. It is a long butterfly-shaped lake with a north-south direction along the southern end of the depression. The body, covering an area of about 1.3 square kilometers. Yaze Lake is located in the Kanas Lake Scenic Area in Burqin County, Xinjiang. It is located by the Kanas River to the south of the scenic transfer center, and 142 kilometers to the county town to the south. Yaze Lake is 1 km from Kanas Tuwa Village, and is adjacent to the Kanas River to the west, surrounded by dense forests. There is a asphalt and sandy road. At 1350 meters above sea level, the lake is a long butterfly-shaped, forming a wide shallow lake along the southern end of the depression, the lake area is about 1.3 10,000 square meters, long 3 kilometers, wide 600-800 meters, the lake is open and gentle, the lake is like a mirror, in summer there are flocks of wild ducks, big lizards in the lake area to live in peregrine, and flourish.

Yaze Lake is in the middle of Shenxian Bay and Kanas Village in Kanas Scenic Area. This area is relatively open and the scenery around Yaze Lake is beautiful. It is said that flocks of wild ducks are often found here, and sometimes big cockroaches are found. It depends on luck.

Now Kanas Scenic Area is free of tickets, you can make an appointment in advance to enter for free by car, especially affordable, the autumn scenery is beautiful. Yaze Lake and Shenxian Bay are very close, and you can go to see the morning mist around 9:30 in the morning. There are some water birds in Yaze Lake, so you have to take a long-focus shooting

The Kanas scenic spot mainly looks at three bays: Wolong Bay, Moon Bay, and Shenxian Bay. After watching Shenxian Bay, there is a signpost next to Yaze Lake. Generally, everyone will skip Yaze Lake and go directly to the visitor center in Shenxian Bay and other scenic spots. From Shenxian Bay to Yaze Lake, about 1.2KM (only hiking, no scenic car), and there is no place to get on the bus to the visitor center in Yaze Lake. If you choose to see Yaze Lake, there are two choices to go to the visitor center: 1. Walk 1.2KM back to Shenxian Bay and take the scenic car; 2. Continue to walk more than 2 kilometers (seems less than 3KM) to the visitor center. The scenery here is very satisfactory to us. The broad meadow was white and frosty, the light mist floated on the water, the mountains and forests, the lake was very clear, and the wild ducks were swimming in the middle, which was beautiful.

The morning fog is beautiful! I live in the new village. At about 6:00, the car starts to pull people to see the morning fog all the way at the platforms of the new village, but the shuttle bus is non-stop. I am in the shuttle bus after the first stop, and walked back for a while. Warm reminder is very cold, be sure to wear thick clothes, even if you wear short sleeves at noon, it is cold in the morning, the temperature difference is too big, I went at the end of August, it was very cold, be sure to bring thick clothes!

Early in the morning, I took the traffic bus in Kanas Scenic Area to Shenxian Bay to see the morning mist. I didn't notice that a large grassland wetland passing by was Yaze Lake. When I came back, I heard the tour guide that it was the river and later turned into a wetland. We also saw white swans here.
