Green Mosque

The Green Mosque is the most beautiful mosque in the historic city of Bursa, Turkey. It has a history of more than 600 years. Its architectural style is the Bolsa style developed on the basis of the Seljuk style. There are many calligraphy works on the door frame and window lintel of the four doors. The top is two vaults connected by a marble which is rare in the world. The lower part of the inner wall is decorated with hexagonal green tiles, so it is named Green Mosque. The pattern of numerous geometric colored tiles in the room makes people feel like they are in the carpet exhibition hall.
