Hanryeo Sea National Park is located between Hansando Waterway in South Gyeongsang-do and Yeosu Bend in Jeollanam-do on the south coast of South Korea. The calm, mirror-like, boundless sea is dotted with countless islets and cliffs, ideal for viewing by boat. The water-winged boat "Angel" shuttles between the islands from Busan to Yeosu, which is much faster than the land route. On the way, it passes through Chungmu, which has rich historical sites, and Sancheonpo, which is famous for its "Crane Island". Disembark at Jinshan Mountain in the South China Sea. This marine park includes the Haegeumgang area of Geoje Island, the Hansan Island area, the Samcheonpo area, the Noyang area, the Geumsan area, and the Ohdong area, and covers an area of 507 square kilometers. There are many good ports and more than 400 large and small islands along the coast. It is also an ancient battlefield where General Yi Sun-sin fought against Japanese pirates in the Joseon Dynasty. There are many historic sites preserved. Of course, the beautiful scenery and pleasant climate make it a good choice for water sports and summer escape.
