The National Maritime Museum is also a very unique place. This museum is also the largest marine life exhibition hall in Busan and belongs to the Korean government. This museum is also quite unique.
This is a museum on Youngdo Island. You can take bus 66 from Nampo Station to get there. They have some knowledge to North Korea, and they can also understand how they conduct activities at sea and so on. Upstairs, you can learn about ships, underwater marine life, and even boys exploring the ocean during the day. There is an aquarium on the 3rd floor, you can walk down to watch sharks and fish swimming and so on. Outside, you can walk around, look at the scenery, look at the buildings, the outside of the museum looks like a spaceship. The best part is that it's free, so what can you lose? I visited this place mainly because it was within walking distance of the Hilton Busan Hotel where I stayed. I must also admit that I have no particular interest in fishing. I found this museum to be quite old and not attractive enough for contemporary tourists. The exhibits are very static, mostly in Korean. They tried to use the model to create a dramatic effect, but the result was not very good, and the aquarium they went to at the end of the tour was also very small. If you bring the children together, it will be more attractive here. In addition, I don't think this is an oceanographic museum, it is actually more like a fishery-related museum. I feel that their translated name even implies this.
This museum is a bit like the Seafood Biology Museum, with many restorations of prehistoric scenes. And many specimens were restored in the scene. The marine and terrestrial creatures of the Korean Peninsula are exhibited through modern interpretation methods. Not bad.
Busan is a fishing port town. It is a national museum with historical exhibitions, beautiful ship models, including an aquarium and interactive games. The exhibition on the protection of the ocean is very detailed. The information on non-renewable resources can be printed for free.
This is a nice place to spend some time before your ship leaves & it is free. Nice aquarium and displays located right next to the terminal. There is a good view from the top as well.
If you take the kids to Busan, it would be nice to check it out.
Three boats can be visited, and there is also a museum to see. It is very good value. Children like it very much. It is worth visiting. If you play carefully, it will take about half a day
