What travelers say:

I had no idea penguins live in SA. It is worth the visit seeing so many penguins laying on the beach sand catching a tan. The beach walk was a bit crowded making it a bit harder for us to enjoy the views from all sides. We also had the opportunity to swim and chill with the penguins at the beach. This is a total instagramable location

Additional Information

Introduction

There is no question that the 3,000 African penguins who hang out here own this piece of Simon’s Town; you just get to visit. Walkways along this seashore keep you from disturbing the nesting sites but you still get very close to these bold and captivating birds. Few things are more adorable than a penguin. A whole colony of them can overwhelm the brain’s cuteness receptor but Boulder’s Beach is worth the risk.
