What travelers say:

The Museum of the Sixth District is a must see in Cape Town. Although the museum is smaller than expected, understanding this piece of history is arguably a learning experience of Cape Town's past. Take a guided tour and a group guide you out of the museum in the sixth district to see what's going on there. It takes about 30 minutes to get around, but after that, even if you don't take the tour of the 6th district, buy a map of the 6th district and see the neighborhood at the museum.

Additional Information

Apartheid is a word that will perpetually be a piece of South Africa's character. What number of us truly comprehend the importance or what it intended to be liable to it? This previous Methodist church causes us grasp some that through moving documentation of the lives of the general population of District Six. The exhibition hall is a reverence to those 60,000 previous occupants of the Cape Town people group who were coercively expelled from the main homes they had known basically on the grounds that they had the "wrong" hued skin. It is additionally a landmark to balance and advance.
