A cute little town with a very dirty beach
OK for a few days trip, or if you are by car and use it as a base. Beautiful view from the promenade, but unbelievably dirty beach and streets.
Unmissable
Often overlooked because of the high profile of Pompei - very well worth the visit and the quality of the site is just as good. Public transport close by or parking very easy.
Nice but maybe not valued
A very nice place for history lovers, it has the ancient villas of the Romans. A "classy" version of the Pompei sites, here only the rich part of the society used to live!
Stunning villas with almost no tourists
Villa San Marco and Villa Arianna are highly recommended for anyone interested in the real life of 1st century Roman's. It almost felt like walking around a house that we were viewing as a prospectiv...
