Often overlooked because of the high profile of Pompei - very well worth the visit and the quality of the site is just as good. Public transport close by or parking very easy.

A cute little town with a very dirty beach
OK for a few days trip, or if you are by car and use it as a base. Beautiful view from the promenade, but unbelievably dirty beach and streets.
