Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral

A blessed church for catholic devotees. This is must visit place to solemnly pray.

The cathedral is a famous attraction in the city. The overall appearance of the white building is in the Spanish colonial architectural style. The original church was destroyed during World War II, and the current one should have been rebuilt in the 1950s. When I went there, it seemed that there was a worship service inside. I stayed there for a short while and then left.

The churches here were all built during the colonial period. Spain was very powerful in early ocean voyages. Magellan also discovered this place and built many buildings, including some churches. This main urban area includes a very unique old building complex.

When I arrived... there were many people coming to worship... tourists can enter the park for free... there are separate passages for entry and exit... you need to open your bag for inspection... there are many flower sellers at the entrance... and there are also parasols for rent...
