Early winter is a quiet time with few tourists. The scenic area is beautiful. A ticket is required for the shuttle bus (20 yuan per person), which runs on a hop-on-hop basis, averaging one bus every 10 minutes – very convenient and excellent value. Walking around the entire scenic area would be too strenuous for people of average physical ability.
Jingyuetan is a beautiful lake, and it is a sister lake to Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. It is a bit cold in winter, so be sure to dress warmly. It is a great place to visit in summer. It is a natural oxygen bar, and the surrounding area is relatively convenient for dining and accommodation. The park is very large, and you can visit it and then stay overnight in Changchun city.
If you're here on a business trip, I suggest gathering with three or five friends to enjoy nature, escape the hustle and bustle of the city, forget about work, breathe in the fresh air, and relax both body and mind. This is how life should be – a truly worthwhile trip.
🔹 Jingyuetan Lake (the core of the park) It is shaped like a crescent moon and is known as "China's second Sun Moon Lake". You can take a boat to visit the scenery on the lake and feel the tranquil beauty of the rippling blue waves. 🔹 Observation Tower (must-visit) Altitude: 351 meters, you can overlook the magnificent scenery of the entire Jingyuetan Lake by climbing the tower. Suitable for photography enthusiasts, you can take a stunning panoramic view of the forest and the lake. 🔹 Jingyue Zen Temple (Zen Holy Land) A Buddhist temple that integrates Chinese classical architectural style with a quiet environment. Suitable for tourists who like cultural experience, you can pray and meditate here. 🔹 Forest Bathing Trail (recommended for hiking enthusiasts) The total length is 5 kilometers, with dense forests, fresh air and rich negative oxygen ions along the way. Suitable for slow walking, morning jogging, yoga, meditation and other activities. 🔹 Ski Resort (winter only) There are beginner, intermediate and advanced trails, suitable for skiers of different levels. You can also experience snowmobiling, sledding, ice drifting and other activities.
The scenery varies in each season: In spring, everything comes back to life, and the trees around Jingyuetan Lake sprout new buds. The tender green leaves and the clear water set off each other, creating a vibrant scene. In summer, this is a summer resort with an average temperature lower than that in the city. The forest is lush and green, and the lake water is sparkling. It is very pleasant to enjoy the breeze on the dam and the scenery of the lake and mountains. Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons in Jingyuetan Lake. The leaves on the mountain gradually change color. The red, yellow, and orange leaves are intertwined, forming a colorful picture with the blue sky and the green lake water. In winter, Jingyuetan Lake is covered in silver and becomes a world of ice and snow. The lake surface is frozen, the trees are covered with white snow, and the wonders of rime often appear, as if you are in a fairy tale. - The beauty of mountains and waters: Jingyuetan Lake is "the largest artificial forest sea in Asia". The vast forest sea and a pool of clear water are nestled together, and the mountains and waters blend together. Looking down from the air, the lake is like a crescent moon, embedded in the green forest. The vastness of the forest and the softness of the lake complement each other. Walking along the lake, you can see the clear water, reflecting the mountains, trees and sky on the shore. The reflection of the mountains and water is like a poem and a painting. - Unique cultural landscape: The sculpture of the goddess of Jingyue is the iconic landscape of Jingyuetan. The goddess lies on her side on the crescent moon, with a graceful posture and profound meaning, adding an artistic atmosphere to the scenic area. The Bisong Jingyue Tower has a unique shape, incorporating the concept of plants and perfectly integrating with the natural environment. Climbing the tower, you can overlook the whole picture of Jingyuetan. The Taiping Bell Tower is solemn and solemn. The sound of the bell is melodious, giving people a sense of tranquility and peace. There is also a reservoir dam lying on the side of Jingyuetan. It not only has practical functions, but also a unique landscape. Standing on the dam, you can have a wide view of the surrounding beauty. - Excellent ecological environment: Jingyuetan has a forest coverage rate of over 96%, making it a natural oxygen bar with a high content of negative oxygen ions and fresh and pleasant air. The plant resources here are rich, with more than a thousand species of trees, flowers and medicinal plants, forming a complete forest ecosystem with multiple tree species, multiple levels and multiple structures. At the same time, it is also the habitat of many animals, including more than 60 species of birds such as pheasants, mountain magpies and wild ducks, and more than 20 species of mammals such as squirrels, hedgehogs, roe deer and foxes, making the entire scenic area full of vitality.

Early April is not the season for Changchun tourism. The ice and snow have melted but the cold wind is piercing, the dead branches have fallen and the new buds have not appeared. But the Jingyuetan in the bleakness of everything has a desolate beauty that is worth enjoying. Originally thought of renting bicycles in the park for exercise, but unfortunately there was no business, so I decided to walk down the whole journey. I entered the park at 9 o'clock, and I walked completely less than 13:30, about 24 kilometers, which was still a bit tired. Make a reference for the treasures who are ready to hike.
