Meili Jusha Garden

Changshu Meili Town is located about 12 kilometers northeast of Changshu City. It is rumored that Wu Yueguo sent Mei Shizhong and Li Kaishan to guard here, so he took the surname of the two generals. It was the town during the Yuanfeng years of the Northern Song Dynasty. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, it has been one of the mainland trade distribution centers in Changshu, with the saying of "Dongxiang 18 Township, Meili First Town". To Meili, the Jusha Garden in the east of Zhenshu is a must-visit. In Changshu Township, Jusha Garden is the only garden made of historical monuments. Jusha Garden covers an area of 53,000 square meters, and is named after the main body of the park is the Jusha Baifu Pagoda, which was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. "Jusha Tower Shadow" is also one of the "18 Views of Xinyi Mountain" in Changshu, with a long history. The Jusha Tower in the park was built during the Song Zhaoxing period. At that time, Meili Town was still on the shore of the river and sea, often affected by the flood of the tide, endangering the safety of people's lives and property. The local squire launched a fundraising campaign to build a tower in the name of "Sheshi" and "Gather rich". The majority of the people responded positively, accumulated less and more, and gathered sand into a tower, so it was called "Gather Sha Baifu Pagoda." Walking in the garden, the flowers are like a brocade, the breeze is coming, the lotus blossoms are in full bloom, the pool is full of green oily leaves, the petals of the petals, the faint fragrance, in the sun bath, and the courtyard beauty is interesting, more people are pleasing to the eye, refreshing and happy. Tickets can be booked from the network platform, but it takes two hours in advance to enter the park. If you buy directly, it only costs ten yuan, which is really great value!
