Poetry History Hall

The "Poetry History Hall" is the main hall of the Caotang Memorial Building. It was named after the renovation of the Caotang Hall in 16 years (1811). Du Fu's poetry creation truly and profoundly reflects the social reality of the Tang Dynasty from the rise to the decline. It has always been known as "poetry history", and the building is named accordingly.

The Shishi Hall is the central building of Du Fu's Caotang. The center of the hall is a bust of Du Fu's bronze statue, which is flanked by Comrade Zhu De's opposite: "The Caotang remains in the future, and the poetry is holy." This pair of pairs reveals Du Fu and his former residence, the Caotang, in the eyes of people, is noble and immortal.

Out of the firewood door, cross the small bridge. It is the third building on the central axis - Shishitang. The Shishitang is a hall-style building with a simple style. But the atmosphere is magnificent and quaint. Du Fu left more than 1409 poems, which depicted the history of the time in a real and vivid way.

The Poetry History Hall is the third-heavy Poetry History Hall building on the central axis and the main building. Du Fu's more than 1,400 poems, which truly and vividly show the social life picture of the Tang Dynasty before and after the "Anshi Disorder", reflecting the history of the Tang Dynasty from the rise to the fall. Du Fu was called "poetry saint" by the future world, his poems are called "poetry history", and the "poetry history hall" is also named. The middle of the hall is a statue of Du Fu depicted by the famous Chinese sculptor Liu Kaiqu in realism.
