Last Wednesday, October 3, I went to the Riviera to see Ben Howard. It was an epic show. Loved watching him perform live. I've waited years for BHP to come to the United States to play and see him excited but absolutely scared to come to the Riviera. Honestly, I almost gave up my ticket because I read the horrible reviews. Thanks I didn’t because it was a great experience. Is it warm inside? Yeah. But I was comfortable with the whole show. Is the drink expensive? Yeah. Of course, people will expect it in any location, especially in Chicago. The staff is professional and welcoming, the bathroom is clean, easy to get in and out, and the sound/visual is great. I hope they will have some upgrades in the future and keep up with its needs so it doesn’t turn into ruins one day. I love the history of these old theatres. I will be back anyway! Glad we didn’t miss an incredible night because of the previous reviews. I hope others will enjoy the same experience as us and give RIV more love. :)

The Riviera Theatre is Chicago's little-known theatre theatre theatre. I visited it a few years ago, but I was not impressed at that time. Until recently, I often came here to visit my friends, so I had a chance to feel it carefully.
