"Lovely little place to walk around – and for free!We spent an enjoyable few hours here wandering through all the different sections of the garden with various themes. Some of the cactus were huge!There are lots of seating areas around (mostly under the shade of trees) which was great for us as we chose to visit on a particularly hot day!This would be a great place to come with a picnic or a good book to relax, chill out and enjoy the scenery in a peaceful setting."

"We took our kids there, 3 and 5. We went to the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Butterfly Show and let the kids play in the shade of the Rose Garden. They were only interested in the shuttle itself for about two minutes but there was other things to see here. They loved the dinosaurs and butterflies. They were happy for over three hours which was good. Need to buy tickets in advance. Many things need to pay for separate entrance fee. I only noticed that the parking fee was $12. Excellent museum but located in the traffic center of the city so adjust the itinerary accordingly."

"My wife fell in love with this meandering but well designed garden that for some people is the higdden in plain sign gem of the fabulous Getty Center museum. Hint: There are five small bridges over the stream that crosses the garden and on each bridge the sound of the water is different. Lots of other surprises."

"This is a lovely garden on the edge of UCLA but not a tremendous diversity if you are looking for a unique botanical garden experience. We drove 30 minutes to explore and were done walking the paths in the same amount of time. Would only go if staying nearby to UCLA."
